    Hey guys πŸ™‚ I’ve been elected for create a homepage for my current wow guild. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while, but I am totally new in the art of creating one. Firstly I played around with Joomla for a while, which I never really liked, so I tried WordPress instead, which works much better for my liking. I do, however, have a small problem. I’ve used a template I found somewhere online which seems to work great, but I am having trouble removing the links on the right-hand side.

    As shown on the picture. I still want to be able to display news on the frontpage, just without the category display on the front-end. Any way to remove this, so I can make room for more “wow-related” stuff?

    In advantage, thanks! πŸ™‚

  • In your front page template file just remove the get_sidebar(); function call

    check if you have a file called sidebar.php and see if you can find anything like wp_list_categories(); < remove everything related to it

    if you want the hole sidebar to remove you have to go to your frontpage.php or whatever youve called it and delete get_sidebar();
