Move it out of the /blog directory, into the root? Good thing to get done now, before you’ve a lot of sites. May save pain later, as domain mapping plugin won’t work otherwise.

no, it is already in the root, not in the /blog/ dir
On subfolder setups, the /blog is stuffed in the permalink just off the main blog. I dealt with this in the forum sticky.

Yes, edit the main site. Super admin -> Sites -> Edit.
Note this will do nothing to stop URL collisions between site names and page names. 🙂
So don’t make a Page called “whatever” and a site called “whatever”.
It would be nice if there was a way to automatically add any page or post name to the “banned site name list.”
That would prevent URL collisions. Wouldn’t it?
Yes, but it might get long.
I wouldn’t put post slugs in there, no.
That is true. Especially since I like to use post names in the URL.
