I am a newbie in wordpress. Set up my events. Now i need to delete an event. I cannot find a tutorial which includes how to do that.

  • Hi

In the dashboard, select “events”, find the event you want to delete in the list and select “trash” just underneath it.

    Hope that’s OK.

that makes sense but i cannot find anything in the dashboard that says events. that is what has me stuck. When i go to the events page.. all it has is CONTENTS

On the left bar, just below Pages, Events should be displayed.

I have read this document. My events page opens and there is empty. I have maybe a dozen events showing on the webpage. It says Events Add an Event All (0)

when i open the events page in pages it says CONTENT.

I had added all the event and that went fine. Now i need to delete one. ?????

Let me correct this. when i open my events page, it does not show anything like shown on this http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/creating-and-editing-events/.

It is EMPTY. I am so frustrated…

Can you post a link to your events page?

    http://gustinehistoricalsociety.org/events/ is the public page

do you mean this page or the actual page where i am trying to change the events. Here it is

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/tdbrww61udhahxz/Screenshot%202017-02-20%2010.26.44.png?dl=0

The page in your screenshot is the correct page to remove events. But it looks like something is preventing you seeing the events.

It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

have deactivated all but word fence, events manager, and table press plugins.. cuz i think everything will go away. I am using Coraline theme.

    one thing says ”
    ManageWP – Worker Loader
This is automatically generated by the ManageWP Worker plugin to increase performance and reliability. It is automatically disabled when disabling the main plugin.”

I don’t really know what it is nor how it is working. i only have this one site.

You really need to test with all other plugins deactivated and with the default theme running.

I have tested it with everything deactivated and the coraline theme running. SAME thing.
I have changed the theme and had nothing activated.. SAME thing.

Hello, i’m having the exact same problem with two of my websites. I can’t list older events, it shows that i have 42 events and only lists one (that hasn’t happened yet). I deactivated every plugin, reinstalled events manager, updated the plugin, updated the wordpress version to 4.7.2 , nothing seems to fix it. Even checked the dev updates, but it doesn’t show any new updates. I’m also looking for a fix for this issue.

What happens after you change the dropdown to All Events and click the filter button? Do you see any error messages?
