Short answer: Turn off all comments (if need be there are plugins to easily get rid of every trace) and use only static pages.

I made my home page a static page. I deleted my Posts page. But the posts still appear on my home page. Please be clear how to remove comments.
Searched plugins, found:

Haven’t used it myself.
If the theme is displaying your posts on the home page, you’ll have to ask the vendor for help – as these forums only support themes from here:

I can’t get it to work. I want to use the home page that comes with the theme. I don’t want to make a new home page. I just want to remove all references to a blog or comments.
