I’m wondering if I’ve found a bug between PODs relationships and dynamic fields of Elementor or if I’m missing something…
I’ve created a POD relationship between circus post type >> workshop post type but when I use it on Elementor Single Template I either get it linking to the post itself (instead of related relationship) while using the Post Info Widget OR no link at all if I use the Text Editor Widget.

I know that the relationship link scheme is working as I’ve testet it with a PODs template instead of Elementor template so it’s either a bug or I might be missing something. Any clues?

    Thanks,
    Andre

This is not a bug, this is not supported by Elementor Pro.

Elementor Pro doesn’t support our Relationship fields properly. If you notice from their docs: https://docs.elementor.com/article/385-elementor-integration-with-pods

They treat relationship fields as ‘text’ which means they won’t do what you want them to do. If you can get the Pods Template methods to work, that’s what you should use.

Make sure your context is correct (you’re in the loop wherever you’re placing it) and call the template with a shortcode, use the Auto Templates method or put them into a Pods Single Item Widget and check the box for ‘Use Current Post’.

If you need more assistance, please return to our Pods Slack (I noticed you posted this last night on our Slack Chat) and I’ll walk you through a solution that might work for you.

I should say this is not a bug for Pods; this would be an Elementor bug.
