Register sidebar

I have tried the following code in a child theme and it doesn’t seem to work.

function woodland_fish_and_wildlife_widgets_init() {
    register_sidebar( array(
        'name'          => __( 'Home Page Text', 'textdomain' ),

    ) );
	
    }
    add_action( 'rowling_sidebar_registration', 'woodland_fish_and_wildlife_widgets_init' );
