Forgive my ignorance, but how do users Register? I can’t find any form, options/shortcodes.

You can find on the options, search and you will find.
i dont know where ^^

Records need to be on page general settings permission for anyone to register.

This option is within general settings for wordpress;

‘Allow anyone to register’ checkbox.
