Hello @yingfeu,
Yes, this is normal as fiscal laws generally require that an Invoice be immutable. Please take a look:
Refunds not reflected on Invoice
PDF not updated after Refund the item
Thank you for your answer,
I understand but I apply the refund before creating the invoice so I do not modify it.
Let me explain :
People buy my products and at the same time give me a deposit. So I would like to apply both on the invoice.
Otherwise, is it not possible to create a new invoice if the first one is already created when using the refund button ?

@yingfeu,
I don’t quite see how a deposit would turn into a refund. 🙂
Does your order show a refund in your Edit-Order/Order-Details screen? In WooCommerce, a refund & an order are different objects. The Invoice will gather its information from the Order object & not the Refund object.
@dpeyou ,
Sorry for my bad English,
This is not a deposit but this is a returnable bottles. One bottle returned equals 1 euro.
People buy on the website and return the bottles to me by hand or by postal parcel.
So when he orders me on the site I would like to deduct the bottles returned previously and that it writes him on the invoice.
