I want to reduce the amount of padding on the homepage between the bottom of the slider and the beginning of my homepage body text? Interestingly, this spacing issue is not happening in the right sidebar. How can I resolve this? Thanks!

Add to your custom CSS

.home-padding {
padding: 0px 0 0px;
}

.col-lg-3 {
background: #999;
}

You can change the background color to your choice.

In your theme option > home layout you have the portoflio carousel enabled. but your not using it. Move it to disabled.

As for the sidebar use this css in your custom css box in the theme options:
```
.kad-sidebar {
background: #eee;
}
```

Thanks! The portfolio carousel removal worked perfectly.

However, the sidebar added code doesn’t appear to be creating any change?
