Redirect Loop problem and post.php blank

    I’ve been searching over the forums but so far i haven’t been able to find a solution to my problem.

    The first problem i have is with the redirect loop error, i get it whenever i go to the site (other than the admin area). I installed the Canonical URLS plugin (http://markjaquith.wordpress.com/2007/09/25/wordpress-23-canonical-urls/)Which solved this problem, but when this plugin is activated it causes the problem where when clicking update or publish on either a page or post takes me to a completely blank post.php page.

    *SOLVED*

    In case anyone finds this with a similar issue here’s what fixed everything.

    To fix the first problem with the redirect loop we switched the server from IIS to Linux, this stopped the redirection issues.

    To solve the blank post.php page problem the solution actually ended up being as simple as one extra line in my functions .php, so always check that if you have this problem!
