Same problem here. Just found this thread now after pulling all my hair out 🙂
please download the newest version of mDocs (3.10.7). then head to Options > Settings > System Settings > Frontend Upload Options > and check Redirect is Blank
let me know if it fixes your issue.

If you get a 404 error when trying to access your Memphis documents pages try going to Setting>Permalinks and pressing Save. This may solve the issue.

you did change the setting right?
can you open a browser editor on the upload and check the upload form, does it look something like this:

the main thing to look for is the action=””
