1. It’s been working for years before this. 4.4.1 borked it. 🙂
2. no-reply@fairyography.com is a working, valid email.
3. My host checked it and said that the email isn’t even being generated, not just not being sent.
I believe it is more that your email needs to be in the < > brackets, as shown in the above linked page:
John Smith <john@example.com> — is how it should be setup, so
[your-name] <no-reply@fairyography.com> is what it should likely be.
Sorry to jump into a topic that isn’t mine but I have the same exact problem, after 4.4.1 update the contact form just crashed and it was working well a long time ago…
@heatherl – JDBeckett is right – the way you have setup the email address in your form is invalid.
When you fix that you still possibly won’t be able to send emails from Dreamhost via Gmail. Dreamhost has very tight email sending policies to control spam.
