I am setting up a website for a new non-profit. Through Paypal we currently have a donate button that offers recurring donations which is desirable. The Give plugin looks great and has a few more features that we would like to utilize but it looks like if I use Paypal Standard with the Give plugin i lose the recurring option on the Paypal page. This new nonprofit is not ready to pay for add-ons before they begin receiving donations. Am I missing a setting somewhere or is this on purpose so that ppl have to buy the recurring
    addon?

    Hi there,

We do offer Recurring as a paid Add-on because it’s actually quite complex, it’s not simply triggering recurring paypal donations, but it also allows donors to manage their subscriptions, and has dedicated reporting, and supports the major Payment Gateways as well.

We find overall that nonprofits who purchase Addons greatly benefit from our priority support and updates to the Addons and recover their costs very quickly.

If you have further questions about our Premium Add-ons I’d encourage you to reach out to us directly through our contact form:

    Thank you!
