Hi there, loving the plugin so far.

My question is, as a user of my site will pay say $100/ year to access the content, what form of notification are they given prior to their existing membership rolling over or expiring?

Or is anything generated from PayPal’s end saying ‘this payment is about to expire’ or ‘this payment will be renewed in 30 days time’ etc.

Hi @bulla101,

Thank you for your question.

There is a option in our Pro version of Membership plugin that enables you to configure the email to be sent before a subscription expires or after a subscription is paid. This feature is not included in this free lite version of Membership plugin.

I just wanted to mention one other possible option with this free version. You can setup Remote Pings to communicate with a mail service or program and that could send emails to users.

There’s a rough example of how that could be done here:

It’s more technical and thus not an “out of the box” solution, but it could work depending on your requirements.
