Recent Posts on sidebar only with Thumbnail

Hello, can somebody help me with this:
i need to show on sidebar a list of recent posts, but i would like to show only thumbnails without title nor except, and they must be “TILED”, not listed.
I have already tried some plugins but they all come with listed mode.
I just made the same things with popular post and it worked perfectily, now i need to make it with recents posts. Thanks all in advance.
