Really custom bullets

I’m trying to make an ul where every list item has its own custom bullet. It’s a list of websites, each one of which is for a different event for handicapped athletes and each event/website has its own logo. I would like the list to pull a small version of the logo associated with each list item (event/website) to use as its bullet.

Don’t know if this is possible, or I should try using custom fields…

It’s for a client that will ultimately want to be able to add events and logos themselves, so I’m trying to figure out a way to do that that doesn’t involve them having to get into the html/css.

Any ideas?
