“Read More” Button On FAQs?

    There is a button below each one of my FAQs that says “Read More >”

    I am by no means an expert and this has been a bit of a learning curve for me, could someone help me out? Using the free version of Ultimate FAQ.

    Also, FAQs are displaying like blog posts, large bold letter for the title, with answer underneath. Can I not make this appear any different using the free version?
    I may be doing something wrong.

    Bottom line, I’m trying to create a simple faq where my users will click the title of the question, and an answer will appear below, but otherwise answer is hidden. No colors styles or fonts. Can I do this with the free version, and how do I make the “Read more >” button go away?

    Hi monkeysuncle789,

    We tried to access the link you sent but got a “Oops! That page can’t be found.” error. Did you move the UFAQ shortcode to another page? If so, could you send us the new address?

    I had removed the page the FAQ was listed on, and deactivated plugin, due to it not functioning. Putting it back together now and will send you the link to it.

    After reactivating the plugin, it’s working as it should.
    The FAQs are appearing on my FAQ page and everything is now working properly.
    Sorry for the confusion.

    But I do have another question.
    (I could also post another topic afterward so that you
    may answer the question in case anyone has the same problem?)

    – How do I remove the “Share this” and “Like This”
    social media buttons from the page, are those caused by my theme, or does your plugin display them? I couldn’t find anything in basic options to toggle them.

    Hi monkeysuncle789,

    The “Share this” and “Like this” are not added by our plugin, but by “Sharedaddy” plugin and you should be checking the options of that plugin and/or contact the plugin’s developer.

    Ah, okay. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

    But I don’t have a plugin called “Sharedaddy”, I searched and found a few called that though, but I don’t have any of them installed.
    I only have 9 active plugins right now, 16 in all.

    Where is it that you see that?

    Did you manage to remove the share items?

    We’re asking because just checked https://bargainbob.com/faqs/ again and it appears the share items are no longer appearing on that page.

    I wasn’t able to remove them, they are still there.

    “Share This: (Twitter button) (Facebook button)
    Like This: (Like button) ”

    still appears at the bottom of the page.

    It may be brought on by another plugin as you said, I’ll look into the other plugins. But I’ve no idea which one is causing it.

    But thanks for your time nonetheless.
