Random 404’s When Browsing Admin Area

Hi there,

I seem to have this with a number of my wordpress websites.

When I am in the admin area clicking through different areas, sometimes I will click on something and it will show the frontend of my website with the error “The page can’t be found.”.

If I simply refresh the page it displays what I expected to see when I first clicked the link.

What is the most likely cause of this?
