    Hi,

    From last update of litespeed server i got an issue with high using memory.

    before i starting the crawler manually my ram usage is 300 to 400 MB. while litespeed creating cache the ram usage is 2 to 2.5 GB and when the crawler stopped it remain on 2.5. after 5 to 8 hours ram usaging going to 9.5GB and when i disable litespeed plugin the ram usage go to 300MB. whats the problem? i think litestpeed crawler not stop working after crawler stopped. i see it is creating more and more file cashes until my 30GB host storage got full.

    please check , if possible, how many PHP processes were running after you started the crawler , and how many were after crawler finished.

    im using shared hosting. could you say how can i check php processes?
    and the problem i said happens when i activate js combine.

    Number Of Processes before crawling 3 / 100 (3%)
    Ram Usage: 507.07M

    Number Of Processes while crawling 10 /100 (10%)
    Ram Usage: 2.5 GB

    Number Of Processes after crawling 3 / 100 (3%)
    Ram Usage: 2.28 GB

    in this case cpu + io + process rise and down but ram usage still on high

    after 50 min litespeed crawler ended still plugin is creating new js files in the js folder and it wont stop. ram usage from 2.28 now is 2.83 GB and it going to be more…

    I assume you are using cPanel ? do you see “Terminal” or “SSH access” in your cPanel account ?

    and please try disable “combine external inline JS”

    yes im using cpanel and hosting provider wont give ssh access.
    disabling combine external inline JS fixed the issue. no more ram increasing.
    can i ask why? whats the problem? i didnt have this problem ever. just in last few days.

    I am not sure either , but first guess is if you have some JS on external , the and combine is trying to download these JS to local for combine , and during the process to fetch these JS, somethi went wrong, like failed to download and hit in loop , or hanging for slow transfer , or timeout …etc
