• This is a question about the expected behavior of the plugin based on the information presented in the documentation.

I’m wondering what the functionality for the plugin is when the number of posts/pages that are included in the Podcast RSS feed exceeds the current maximum of 1000.

Assumedly, only the most recent posts/pages would be listed on the xml (RSS) feed. If that’s different, what is the expected behavior?

Based on my above assumption, once the older posts fall off the feed, what happens to them from the perspective of the podcasting platform? Are they still available? What functionality will we lose, if any, by the limitation of the size of the xml (RSS) feed?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
As you probably know, there is a configuration option which defines how big the feed is – the default value is 20 (max is 1000). In other words 20 latest posts/pages will be used in the feed. Regarding your second question – audios are still there – they are just not presented in the feed. The plugin doesn’t include those – and there is currently no way to add them. I’m happy to change this implementation – if you have any suggestions how it would suppose to work :).

    Cheers,
    Tomasz
