Question about categories

    I have a blogg that is about a television series, the blogg has several categories, i want to cahnge it so that all posts are in one single category and delete all of the others so my question is this

    1: how can i move all the 1000+ posts into the one single category i want?

    2: how can i delete all the other categorys ?

    As far as I understand, you can delete the categories in which those posts live, and they’ll revert to the default “Uncategorized”. Then you can batch edit all the posts and move them to the new category (this might take awhile if you have 1000+ posts!!).

    Or you can do this first and erase the old categories only when you’re done.

    I would *definitely* first make a site backup.

    Where can i delete the categories where the posts live ? i will make a test before i do anyting.
