Thank you for reaching out!
The “Tweet about my page” option accepts custom text which can be defined under question number 2 in the plugin’s settings here https://www.screencast.com/t/VqOhfSIiTKjc.
I do not understand your final question. Could you please rephrase?
@socialtech Take a look at the screen shot – here . Now what I meant was :
The Tweet is editable, and it should be , which is great. But the link to the page and a mention@me can also be edited by the user. If a user so chooses, how will the trace back remain to this webpage?
Thanks
Thank you for clarifying!
If the user edits that info then there will be no trace left back to your site.
The user shares it to his Twitter account after all and should have 100% control of the content shared.
@socialtech True on that account. But, I am pondering the social mileage is lost for the creator. So when the Twitter window pops up – if everything is editable except the web page link, now that would make sense.
I’m sorry but that is outside of our control.
At that point the user is already on Twitter’s domain, please see https://www.screencast.com/t/FdFMa88hg0HI
@socialtech sure. I understand.
Thanks for the clarification.
