I want to use qtranslate plus fot an multilanguage website , and I want that when the visitor arrive to website, this will be display to there language.
I check the option “detect browser language” , and try to test on to diferent machine with the same browser instal with different language ( english and german) – but the page is always show in english.
What i’m doing wrong, or how can i test it to be sure that it works?

There is no solution to filter and change language by IP ( geoip)?

I want to use qtranslate plus

Are you sure you are on right forum? This is for qTranslate-X.

As to this option it does exactly as it says in the help prompt under it:

When the frontpage is visited via bookmark/external link/type-in, the visitor will be forwarded to the correct URL for the language specified by his browser

This happens for the first time, after that user may change language and it will stay changed. To test the first hit, Gunu said it right, you have to clear cookies.

Since you do testing, please, take the latest version from GitHub, which can be downloaded from there (look for button Download), or click here for the sake of convenience.
