• Does anyone know of a good project management software written in PHP that I can install on my server? I’m looking for something with a message board, calendar, project manager/list etc. TIA!

  • There’s:

    http://www.phprojekt.com/

Which I’ve not used but hear an occasional good thing about, and:

    http://netoffice.sourceforge.net/

Which I have used and experienced some issues with, but its been a while and they’ve made a lot of improvements to it. I always liked the interface.

Yeah I was checking out both… phprojekt seems less overwhelming, however netoffice has a much nicer interface…. ahh decisions. Thanks!

Is there any more free web base project management software out there besides these two. Any one has experience or suggestion.

    Thanks

    http://netoffice.sourceforge.net

Works for me … it’s a fork of phpCollab I have been using for almost a year now.

You might also want to check out dotproject. It has some groupware functions as well, enabling the team to collaborate and share information.

    http://www.php-collab.org

The user community is a tad quiet but there are a handful of very active (and very useful) folks on the forums. I just started using it, so far I’ve found mods for every need that the default install didn’t address.

actually, phpcollab has been stopped and netoffice is the continuance. just recently they’ve began production with netoffice again. so, keep checking back on the netoffice site for a stable release with bug fixes. also, check out my list of the best program managment solutions (i’ve done quite a bit of research). hope this helps out!
