I too, thought that page was ugly, hard to read and so forth. Not up-to-date with contemporary society. I am not looking for a magazine-looking template although not for a magazine.

Hmm, they seem a bit too far off what I want in order to customise it to what I want (seeing as I am no expert). http://www.solostream.com/2007/11/29/wordpress-magazine-theme-wp-magazine-theme-10/ is the ideal one, but anything close to it, would be good. Thanks by the way.
You might want to Google for free WordPress magazine themes – one of results is here – nice ones too. BUT, be prepared to go through decoding encrypted theme files.
Stop bumping this, just look on themeforest or google. there’s loads out there. someone close this post.
I’ve looked in ‘many’ places but seen same ones over and over so maybe someone here can point to a good theme which may not be well-known.
