Because you haev modified the store page i created.
DO NOT MODIFY THE PAGES THAT ARE CREATED BY THE PLUGIN. If you want to design your own store page , do it on a separate page using the short codes.

I am having a similar issue. I have NOT modified the plug-in or modified the code in any way. I tried resizing the photo, changing the format- JPEG, GIF and PNG- none of them work.
I am using the plug in to sell just one product by instant download, so I have the option to work around this issue, am just wondering why it doesn’t work. Could it have something to do with the recent WP security update or the theme? I tried switching to the WP 2012 theme just to see if it makes a difference. Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem. It’s a fresh install of the plugin with just one downloadable product. I added one product. picked an image (250 x 250px jpg) and it is not showing up.
It seems to me that the issue is probably related to the WP 3.8.1 Maintenance update. I tested the plug in on another site using this plug in and had the same issue. Also had a problem connecting to WordPress.org until I manually re-installed the update. Am going to wait a couple of days and see if the bugs get worked out of this update on the WP side.
Has it got fixed after update ??
I have tried it myself and seems to be working fine.
