• Hi, I have a two-fold problem with the individual product images on my site.

The individual product images are huge.

The images are also blurry until you hover over them.

I have tested different themes, and they render perfectly with other themes – small and non-blurry. I would however like to continue using Astra, as I have set up and customised my whole site using Astra.

I have changed all the available settings & customisations relating to images (as well as resizing the images), but nothing resolved the issue. Is there a bit of CSS I can add to make the images smaller and non-blurry – or is there another solution? I have tried suggestions by WooCommerce, which didn’t work. The issue seems to be with the theme.

Any help greatly appreciated, thank you.

  • Hi @chrismartins86,

I have the WooCommerce Product Images setting like this and the product image looks just fine, as we can see in the screenshot.

Please try to configure yours like that and see if it works well for you.

Please let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 😊

Hi Herman, thank you. I’ve changed the settings as you suggested (in the image). It doesn’t make any difference though. Here is the link to one of the problem images, it’s huge. And no matter which settings I change, it doesn’t make any difference. I have also resized the image, but also didn’t make any difference: https://backyardpantry.com.au/product/protein-flakes-from-wa-sweet-lupin/

Thank you for looking into this for me

Hi @chrismartins86, sorry for the delay.

Have you tried to disable all the plugins installed on your site, and leave only WooCommerce active? If you haven’t, please try it, and see how it goes.

Please let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 😊
