    Hi there

I’m using your plugin on a site – which on the whole is very good. But there is one problem which really undoes all the good UX work the plugin is intending to improve.

In short it doesn’t clear corrected validation errors.

Here’s an example to recreate the issue:

    1. Make sure you are logged out as a customer.
    2. Add item to basket and checkout.
    3. Create a deliberate validation error (for example, leave a required field blank).
    4. Go through all the sections and attempt to make payment, you’ll then get told of the validation error(s) by WooCommerce.
    5. When you go back and correct the errors and then proceed to attempt payment again, you will see that the validation errors still show at every step of the checkout process despite the fact they have been corrected.

This is a big issue. Is it something you can look into?

I really love your plugin, it just worked out of the box with very few issues, but this issue is a bit of a dealbreaker for me unfortunately.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks
    Pete

The validation is inherited from the WooCommerce plugin. It works also the same if the Multi-Step Checkout plugin isn’t activated: the validation is done when clicking on the Place Order button and errors don’t disappear once you solve them.

In order to arrange the validation as you want the whole validation code from WooCommerce needs to be rewritten and then maintained in order to function with all the past and future WooCommerce versions. Unfortunately this is a dealbreaker for us as developers.

I’m sorry to disappoint you, but this is open-source software. Please take it as it is or use another plugin or modify the code by yourself.
