problems with Jetpack on Virtue

    Hi. the add media and edit media icon on photos is not working and I have troubleshooted to figure out it will work if i disable jetpack plugin. is there a way to fix this? would it be better to just disable jetpack. i do like the subscription part and the facebook likes and contact form.
    is there a fix or should i just try other plugins? does anyone have suggestions for the virtue theme and plugins doing similar jobs that would not have issues with the theme?

    Jetpack shouldn’t have any issue running with virtue. You might have a setting that is off, or another plugin that is conflicting with jetpack. Right click with jetpack activated and click inspect. Then look at the popup page and see if there are any red javascript errors.

    I’m about to upload your free virtue theme as a trial run, and will purchase the premium version if all goes well.

    My question to you is should I just deactivate Jetpack before loading Virtue? Does one really need it to use Virtue, or is it more trouble than it’s worth?

    Same goes for the other preloaded plugin.

    I’m excited to get started. You theme looks to be one of the best and I wish you and your company great success.

    Hey,
    If your going to use any plugins you should know what they do and what you want from them. I personally don’t think jetpack is used by as many people that have it downloaded but it does have some good tools, it also can take over what a theme is doing to you wan t to check the settings and make sure you only what want you want/need enabled. To start it doesn’t matter if it’s enabled or not.
