Problems when Moving site

Hi,
I can’t get the site to work after I moved it. I followed the guides and don’t know where I did wrong. As it is now, the site is loading for a long time until it says “The connection has timed out”.
I really appreciate help.

I developed a WordPress site on MAMP. I took back ups, exported the database, changed site URL, imported the database, changed database in the config file, uploaded all the files to the new server.

I use godaddy and the site, (mysite.com). It is set up under another site (oversite.com). So mysite.com takes files from /mysitefiles. When I created the database I put in that it will be used for mysite.com.

Do I need to direct anything/anywhere else? Change something in the database? Anything else that I might done wrong?
