Problems upgrading to WP 2.51

Hi All

After I went through the upgrade proceedure (and backed up my files) I tried to log in to the new version but got this menacing note:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: require_wp_db() in /home/axbecom/public_html/eastcoastpropertynews/wp-settings.php on line 206

Could anyone suggest a fix for this? Otherwise I’ll just have to go back to my original version.
