problems installing

    I am trying to install the plugin via dashboard /plugins / add new.
    I appears to upload and activate it but then gives me an error – ‘you don’t have permissions to change this page’. However it has actually installed the software. I also had 2 errors re max_file_upload and max_input_vars. I created a php.ini file as there wasn’t one and set these to 100 and 1000.
    Anything I try to do though gives the permission error

    Hello,

    1-For the permissions: i’m not sure but looks like you don’t have the right to install/activate plugins. Are you sure you’re using an admin account with alll the defaults capabilities?

    2-For the errors: there is always a php.ini file, you just don’t have access to it. I suggest you contact your hosting company and ask them to help you make the changes because a lot of them don’t let the customers edit the php settings by themselves.
