Problems creating links

Hi,

Lately, I’ve been having issues adding links in headings and message boxes, even though it worked fine for months.

I’ve tried using the link tool both in Visual Composer and in classic mode, as well as adding the url directely in the code using the classic mode. The results I get are either regular text (no link) or an empty link that just refreshes the page.

I edited a couple of links before I realized this was happening, so now I have bunch of links that aren’t working…which is not good since now is a very important time for me to reach potential clients.

I even tried replicating the whole header code from a header with a link that still works and modifying it to display the proper text and use the proper url for a new link, but it doesn’t work either. For reference, here’s the example code I used and my version for the new link. I don’t see any hints as to why the new one doesn’t work while the example one still does, but I don’t know much about code. Is the problem somewhere else in my website’s code?

The problem seems to be limited to headings and text boxes. I tried adding a link in the regular text (with the link tool and in classic mode) and it worked fine.

If it makes any difference, I’m using the Earth theme, by WPExplorer.

Any help would be much appreciated.
