So I ahve been running an older version of Autoptimize for a while, and just updated today .. as soon as I did it, everything on the site, all images anyways, broke – I’ve had to disable the plugin. I’d like to try to get it running again as it has served really well in the past, but I am not sure what exactly I now need to fix.

Yes, I use Bj-lazyload – but I have the js excluded (unless I’m missing something) and I have also excluded jquery

The below is my exclusion list:

    s_sid,smowtion_size,sc_project,WAU_,wau_add,comment-form-quicktags,edToolbar,ch_client,jquery.js,jquery.lightbox.min.js,jquery.light,ajaxbox.plugin.min.js,photocrati_ajax,jquery-ui.js,frame_event_publisher.js,vfa.min.js,get_html_text.js,nextgen_pro_lightbox.js,common.js,combined.min.js,bj-lazy-load.js, jquery.js, jquery.min.js , jquery-min.js

any suggestions on why this has suddenly stopped working? I also use a caching app, but I dont have any minify on it enabled.

can you try the fix for the known bug with inline JS described here facter?

    (@futtta)

forget my previous comment, working on a better fix now (using bj lazy load as test).

Could you install this test-version of 1.8.4 and confirm if this works or not?

    (@futtta)

1.8.4 got released a couple of hours ago, fixing this issue. thanks for your input (as I wrote I tested with BJ Lazy Load)!

Some of my images not showing up either after the update

    (@futtta)

what version are you on now Steven? 1.8.3 or 1.8.4? and what lazy load plugin are you using, BJ Lazy Load or something else?

    Jammin

    (@jahlive)

i’m on the latest version and using Unveil Lazy Load

    Plugin Author Frank Goossens

    (@futtta)

Hmm, when looking at your site it seems unveil isn’t (correctly) loaded, even without Autoptimize being active. So I don’t think this is a Autoptimize problem?

    Jammin

    (@jahlive)

It was working fine for months,so don’t know what’s wrong now

    (@jahlive)

Yesterday every thing was working as entended to this morning i upgrade your plugin and something break…now i removed the Unveil Lazy Load and now all my images gone..

    Plugin Author Frank Goossens

    (@futtta)

Did a quick test with Unveil, seems to works OK for me.

Esp. after removing unveil all should be fine. A caching issue somewhere (do you use a page caching plugin?) maybe?

    Jammin

    (@jahlive)

Yes i have a caching plugin also i used cloudlfare, but for now i’ve put back your version 1.8.2 and every thing working great images all showing up etc but if i used the lastest version of your plugin all my images not show….too early in the morning for me to stress with my site so i’ll stick with 1.8.2. to something work with the latest version for me…

    Plugin Author Frank Goossens

    (@futtta)

pretty weird Steven as autoptimize does not impact images (except when a lazy loading solution is in place). ping me if you’re ready to install 1.8.4 and test some more, i’ll be happy to assist.

And i keep seeing this in my logs when someone go o my site

Brussels, Belgium left http://mysite.com/ and tried to access non-existent page http://mysite.com/xxxxx/cache/autoptimize/autoptimize_a09f6cbcc78c332da5bfa216d3b12320.php

it keep showing up on every page people visit

brussels, that might be me πŸ™‚

if the autoptimize_xyz.php file does not exist any more, there must be a page in a cache somewhere which is still referring to that optimized js/ css.
