Problem with virtual site structure

I’ve set up the permalink so that it should have my archives in something like this
/index.php/archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

It works fine, but when i go to click on my menu to login. The link changes from http://chadwick.fbsdhosting.com/wp-login.php
to http://chadwick.fbsdhosting.com/index.php/archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/wp-login.php
And doesn’t work .. any suggestions?
