Problem with excerpts

    Hi all,

    I’m entering a manual excerpt for a post on my site, this post has an image in it. For some reason even on the manual excerpt the image keeps loading on the page. Any way to make sure it won’t? This site is using the Modularity theme by GRaph Paper Press.

    Its on the front page of http://www.curbsyde.com , the post in question is the “South Island Series” on the right where it shows a map icon.

    Hi Curbsyde,
    In Firefox I do not see the image nor the red cross but the empty line below the date/read/discuss is where the code shows for a smaller version of the smaller version of the youtube , height=”180″ width=”320″> etc. inclusive a greyed out link.
    The empty box in IE is about that size.

    That said, I do not see your manual excerpt in any of my browsers.
    And how hard I tried, I could never insert a link into my Manual Excerpt box (on my testsite).

    Somehow your theme does not do an excerpt, I think.
    The new Zealand one above, is that a manual excerpt?

    Thanks for replying.

    The image on the south island series was manually put in by using html code.

    Still trying to sort how to keep the small youtube version. Works with Chrome and Safari so far. No luck with FireFox though

    The NZ excerpt was automatically done by the them, I can’t seem to stop it from using the image inside the post try as I might!
