[resolved] Problem with displaying 'Attach' button on custom post type (7 posts)

    Hello!

Sorry if this problem was already resolved, I could not find the right topic (if it exists).

I have custom post type named 'Downloads' (I used a plugin to create a new one). In description it is said that the plugin supports custom post types, but in reality I cannot find it.

When I create a new (download) post, there's no box with 'Attach' button.

I've even tried to create 'my_attachments' function in 'functions.php' and insert the right code to 'single-downloads.php', but it still doesn't work.

Can someone please tell what is the problem?

    Thank you in advance.

Please refer to the Usage instructions: https://github.com/jchristopher/attachments#usage

You will need to register an instance that uses your Custom Post Type

Oh, yes. Thank you very much. I did not notice this setting.

Hello, what about old files previously attached with the old version?
I can see the Attach button, but old files are not still attached to the post. How I can fix it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ricky

There is a built in migration process on the Settings screen. Have you migrated the old data to the new format?

Self-fixed, I use the migration proces but forgot to change the instance name in the function.php snippet.
    Thank you anyway,
    Ricky
