  • Hi,

This sounds like a jQuery conflict with another plugin or your theme. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

Yes, I have the same problem, changed themes, switched off all plugins…nothing helps. Frontend users cannot upload media…even they should because capabilities are all correctly set.

Oh, you have to grant weird permissions…such as “Edit others pages” and then it works. But who wants to grant permissions to users to edit others pages?????

You guys from EM should have a look at it and come up with an update to get rid off this bug. Thanks.

Hi Angelo, yes I am using URE. No chance. Try yourself with another role. One has to grant permissions like “Edit Other Pages” in order to get the permission for uploading files.
I encountered this strange behavior only with EM plugin. Frontier Post is working fine.
Please, just say: yes, we will remove the bug in next version. I have tried everything. It’s an EM issue.
