Multiple payment (cash + PayPal)
-
Hello everyone,
I am a volunteer of the Fablab Bergamo APS, a no profit association in Italy.
We have recently been using your plug-in to allow associates to support the
association’s activities, even in this period of social distancing. Is possible building a only form for payment in cash (subscription on site and real payment) + PayPal system?

Hi there @shaggy85
You mean have an option to pay either by cash/cheque or by PayPal?
If so, then yes, that can be done using a radio field with an option for each, like this example:
https://monosnap.com/file/YgjezOzRreNSsgY0MWhG0yGNNwFtfrAnd here’s the form I used for the example that you can import into Forminator on your site to play with an see how it’s done:
https://pastebin.com/RwjWqUymHi, thanks for the quick reply.
I imported your code into the site.
I see from your script that you are using version 1.14.10.I originally had version 1.14.8 and wordpress auto update did not detect later versions. With this version the script does not work. I therefore forced the update to the latest version that wordpress gives me available which is version 1.14.9 and allows what is proposed.
Will version 1.14.10 be available soon or is it a beta test version?Tomorrow I will test the function better, in the hope that it will offer a good experience to associates who want to support our activities.
I will keep you updated on the tests.
Thank you.Hi again @shaggy85
Oh shoot, I apologize. I was indeed working with the beta for version 1.14.10, oops.
Here’s the same form from 1.14.9 so you can test on your install. 🙂
https://pastebin.com/LjdNf17GCheers!
Patricki install the version 1.14.9, but with problems.
Now the association subscription form does not accept requests with simple submit or transactions via PayPal, returning this error
Error! Something went wrong during checkout and payment couldn’t be approved.
Here is the video after uploading your code > https://youtu.be/nb-BIBRv6q0
and this is the code of the association form > https://pastebin.com/8Pfv5rxL
with a video of testing form > https://youtu.be/gEGJr6NpGnwis it possible that I have to reset the plug in? from the code can you identify the problem for which it does not let me complete the registration of the associates?
thanks and sorry for the trouble
Today I tried version 1.14.9 by resetting the plug in.
I have created a new form that collects only name and surname, allows the selection between two types of membership and allows payment in cash or via paypal.
In both cases the subscription fails with the error:
Error! Something went wrong during checkout and payment couldn’t be approved. Here the code.
https://pastebin.com/w3wNK5pPLooking forward to your development.
Thank youhi Patrick @wpmudevsupport16 ,
have you had the opportunity to check the form I sent you if the code works correctly on version 1.14.9 or 1.14.10?
I tried other times to reset the plug in and rebuild the form from scratch, but without success.
I see wordpress reporting me that version 1.14.9 has not been tested with the latest current version of WordPress.
Could this be the problem?
Let me know as soon as possible.
Thank you.Hi @shaggy85
I hope you are doing well.
I see the issue here.
The problem is related to the PayPal field, this field doesn’t support conditionals at this moment which will cause the problem when trying to submit.
This feature is coming in Forminator 1.15 https://premium.wpmudev.org/roadmap/#forminator
About the:
I see wordpress reporting me that version 1.14.9 has not been tested with the latest current version of WordPress.
Our plugins always support the latest WordPress updates and PHP versions, I will let our developers know about this and ask to update the plugin to support the latest version notification.
A workaround is using this mu-plugin:

Patrick FreitasHello @shaggy85 ,
We haven’t heard from you for a while now, so it looks like you no longer need our assistance.
Please feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.
kind regards,
KasiaHi Kasia.
I do not think this report is to be considered concluded as I await the release of version 1.15 as indicated by Patrick.
Being a volunteer, I can develop the association’s website in my spare time, I can only evaluate the configurations on the weekend.
At the moment the form sent in the previous link is not working correctly.
and this is the code of the association form > https://pastebin.com/8Pfv5rxL
with a video of testing form > https://youtu.be/gEGJr6NpGnwHope there are developments in the release of the next update.
We update.
Hi @shaggy85
Thank you for the update.
Had you tested the script that I sent in the previous reply? It should make the form work as wished while waiting for the 1.15 since we don’t have an ETA yet.
Best Regards
Patrick FreitasHi @shaggy85

Patrick Freitashello everyone, sorry for my absence but I have had several commitments outside the association activity.
I resumed checking the functioning of the site and updated the various plug-ins, and Forminator was also updated to version 1.14.10.1.
I have further edited the form to adapt it.
here is the code:

Thanks and good job.
