It’s not clear what you are asking. Can you give more details with information about the settings you have used and ideally a real URL?
Hello John Godley, I installed this plugin on the site to redirect some links that were in google webmaster, the page from 404 redirects 301 to the home page when I activate the plugin and test 404 it causes problems, it gives me 404.php/
Ok, but what redirect have you created? What is the URL? What is the problem you say it is causing? It helps to have specific details.
The first URL seems to redirect fine.
The second one can be seen here:
https://redirect.li/http/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zfilmeonline.ro%2F404.php
It says WordPress is performing the redirect, not Redirection.
If I disable the plugin, it works ok 404, what could it be from, now test the link with 404, I disabled the plugin
The URL is still redirecting. It says that WordPress itself is doing the redirect, not Redirection.
When I put here from the old permalink to make a redirect, it gives that error to 404 https://prnt.sc/blbO3PLUOk4S
Ok, some details. I don’t think that will work in the permalink migration. What are you trying to achieve here?
I have links in google webmaster with .html that I want to redirect to /film/%post_id%/
Right. As mentioned, I’m not sure if having a permalink with .html will work as a migration.
What problem is this causing to https://www.zfilmeonline.ro/404.php ? Should it not redirect?
When I set that permalink 404 it doesn’t work at all, I also tested on localhost pc with xampp and on the website it does the same
When I set that permalink 404 it doesn’t work at all
What do you mean by this?
