Well, it was fine in IE8. I can’t go anyfurther because you must be working on it.
It is fine in IE7 and 8. You do have errors shown here, http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3a%2f%2fwww.cambodiatales.com%2f, that should be cleaned up.
I don’t know if this is the cause, but the bookmarkify generated code has errors in it and the plugin’s info page says:
Compatible up to: 2.6.3
Thanks for the suggestions. I have removed the bookmarkify plugin, but the problem remains. What happens is that most of the page loads until I get a popup error message saying “Cannot open the Internet area http://www.cambodiatales.com. Operation was aborted”
I use IE 7 – it all works fine in Firefox.
The validator page mentions above I cannot access as it claims there is a 404 error accessing the site.
I have tried to deactivate all plugins, but no result. Any other suggestions?
I am leaving for Cambodia on Saturday and really want to get it fixed before that as I plan to do a lot of blogging from there.
Thanks!
Operation aborted is a bug in IE 7 that is triggered by some types of javascript. The javascript can either be in a plugin, your theme, a widget, or in script code that you added.
Thanks! I will try to upgrade to the latest version of the theme tonight and see if that helps.
Sorry, validation is here, http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3a%2f%2fwww.cambodiatales.com%2f
Your site loads for me in both IE7 and IE8. IE does show “error on page” after loading.

Yes, this is the classic javascript trigger for the IE operation aborted bug:
