Problem Implementing Jquery Slider – Help pls

Hello.

I’ve successfully created an HTML mockup of the DreamCSS jQuery Slider. http://www.dreamcss.com/2009/04/create-beautiful-jquery-sliders.html

I have pasted all the html copy into my page.php template, added the css and added linked to my javascript in my header.php:
<script src=”<?php bloginfo(‘template_url’); ?>/js/scripts.js” charset=”utf-8″ type=”text/javascript”></script>

However my page is not picking up the javascript. All images display one after the other, ignoring it.

Anyone ever implement this script or have any suggestions? I must present this to a client tomorrow and i am stuck. 🙁
