Problem generating XML sitemap

    When generating the XML sitemap, it redirects me to the map route but displays a 404 Not Found error
    The requested URL /sitemap_index.xml was not found on this server.

    What is the reason for this error?

    Hi @cris92alcaino

    Can you kindly follow the steps below and check if the issue gets resolved?

    1. Kindly head to WordPress dashboard > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site features > XML sitemaps and check if you have enabled the sitemap. If not, kindly enable the sitemap and save the settings.
    2. Update permalink settings: Kindly head to WordPress dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and click save without altering anything.
