problem exporting to excel

    Dear Tobias,

    I have trouble when I try to export a table to Excel.
    Words like Südamerika are translated like this: Südamerika
    Even more links and words are translated wrong with signs:
    Réunion • Mauritius: 14 Tage Wanderreise und Baden – ….

    Do you have a solution for this problem ?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This sounds like a problem with the character encoding.
    What file format are you using for the export? CSV?

    Can you then maybe try opening the file in a text editor like Notepad and save the file with “UTF-8” as the character encoding? Also, some versions of Excel treat a file differently if it is opened by double-clicking the file and by opening it via the “File” menu.
