    Hi,

i never used the debug function of ad inserter. But, now, i noticed that from the last update, sometimes and not ever, the plugin insert this in the header:

    Set-Cookie: AI_WP_DEBUGGING=deleted

with “expires” date. I’d like to completely remove this header entry. Should i have to revert to the earlier version of ad inserter?

    Thanks,

    Lorenzo

    Does it cause any problem?

I’ll consider not deleting cookie when it is no longer set.

You can try the development version which already includes this fix:

    Hi,

i had already upgraded to the version 2.0.5 of ad inserter. Anyway, i’ve reloaded the plugin via FTP.

I don’t know, but sometimes, also with this version, the header entry AI_WP_DEBUGGING=deleted appears in the headers, unconditionally.

If you can, i suggest to insert an option for this. For example: check if you want to deleted cookie when wp-debugging is enabled. And if yes, the cookie will be inserted in the headers only when wp-debugging is enabled and only for admin console. If not, the cookie will not be inserted in the headers.

Or, more simply, insert an option in order to switch off the debug for ad inserter.

    Thanks,

    Lorenzo

    Such switches already exist:

Cookie is generated only when you are logged in as admin and you enable debugging.
