Problem changing domain pointer

    Dear Smarter People,

    I built my first wordpress web site and it works great from the admin login.

    When I set the domain pointer to the site WordPress directory (two subdirectories down from the root), the text comes up but none of the nice formatting of the theme.

    Previous posts suggest a css-styles issue; I have checked permissions, etc and most are set to 644.

    Any ideas?

    Rookie mistake.

    I needed to remove the two subdirectories from the Site Address and WordPress address in the General Settings.

    Problem solved
