Hmmm…
When I look at the page that’s the leadin to the admin panel – I see /WordPress beside the little X button to delete. Could it be that the webhost only recognizes the /WordPress folder as they had it already installed for me
Now, before any further guessing:
1. Who is your host?
2. Where is your blog? (I mean a REAL link)
3. How did you you install WP? One-click?

I didn’t install WP – My host had it already It’s WP2 I didn’t need to do anything about installing
Yesterday I simply tried to create a new folder and follow the directions by moving the index.php file (and changing it as per the directions) and the htaccess file to the new folder and altering the home and blog url address. I couldn’t get that to work so the moderator suggested I was making my life complicated and I should simply rename the WordPress folder. I put everything back to it’s orignal condition and started over
Actually, none of your internal links work: clicking on a category or post title or anything on your blog > goes to a not found error page (outside of the blog).
On the other hand trying to go the admin folder or the login page never gets anything like “WordPress” – always shows the present foldrname.

The mod might have been me… and I just performed a similar change last night on a testblog of mine (for the 100th time), so I know it works – if done properly!
When I’m in VDec there is a link that says Domain Admin This hyperlink is what takes me to the dashboard etc. However on review of the hyperlink – this is what it says
http://findasecretlover.com/WordPress/wp-admin/index.php
Somehow though I’ve changed the phpdatabase blog address and wordpress address etc this hyperlink is staying the same. It should be going to the the new folder “loveblog”
Now when I physically type in http://findasecretlover.com/loveblog/wp-admin/index.php I can signin and get to the dashboard
