Privatizing uploaded files

    This has been driving me crazy and I can’t seem to find a solution anywhere, including premium plugins.

    I have some files uploaded to my site (PDF’s) that I would like to be viewed by members/subscribers only. I know that I can create private posts to display the links to said files, but anyone who gets a hold of the file URLs could view the PDF files.

    Is there anyone, anywhere, who has found a way to make the files themselves accessible to members only?

    I remember someone saying that they achieved this with a membership plugin and that it changes the url constantly. I don’t remember if it was the S2Member or another plugin. You may want to search the membership plugins.

    Achieved this using Amazon S3 storage.
