    Hi there.
    Some of my products in my webshop are one-of-a-kind second hand products. When I sell them, I want to hide them in my webshop and I also want them to be “hidden” from search engines (google etc.)
    When I choose “Catalog Visibility: Hidden”, they disappear from my shop page which is fine, but you can still find them through a Google Search.
    When I choose “Visibility: Private”, nothing changes. You can still find them via Google. I was in the understanding, that when I choose private, then the product where hidden from everything??
    When I choose “Visibility: Protected with acces code”, then it works like it should, so that you can find the product through a search, but you can’t enter the specific product page without an acces code.

    So my problem is, that the “Private function” doesn’t work, which is a problem, as I don’t want to delete the products.

    Hi @henningwhatawatchdk,

    It sounds like your theme or a plugin is overriding the default options of WooCommerce for Catalog visibility that you can see here:

    Can you please provide your System Status so we can further check? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hey @henningwhatawatchdk,

    By default there is no “Catalog Visibility: Private” or “Catalog Visibility: Protected with access code” option in WooCommerce. As you can see in my previous message the Catalog visibility default options appear to be different from the ones that you have.

    This should be because a plugin or your theme ShopIsle PRO is overriding those options. I can’t currently check since I don’t have that theme installed but you can reach out to the theme developers and they should be able to assist you further.
