Thanks for the filter hook Merv. It worked fine. Unfortunately the search widget is not setting the post type=rental. I have my settings set to rental only. However on viewing the source code I noticed that the hidden field is not setting the post type as rental, it is blank. This causes my regular posts to be included in a search. If I manually place post-type=rental in the URL it works…

Sorry Merv, I resolved the issue. In the widget options (Appearance-widgets), for the search widget, as I only have rental as my post type, I never thought to actually select it using CTRL. Thanks again, the plugin has saved me a lot of time…
